October 13: Cross cultural interaction

I guess I should tell you what I am doing in Val D’Or this week. I am on a Red Cross training program learning about implementation of Community Health programs. We are a group of 13 attendees along with facilitators spending a week adapting our knowledge base to a third world emergency setting. Today’s assignment is to do an assessment in the community. Our interaction included sharing moosemeat stew (I abstained...), bush tea, and locally hand harvested blueberries.
