May 4: Some work, some play

Bixi is finally here in Toronto. I need not have worried that I would have to walk far to find a station. Bikes are in clear view from my window. I have no time to test these funky commuter bikes. I spend too much of this glorious day indoors at the Primary Care Today symposium. Even when I don’t leave town, I spend time by Pearson Airport.

Luckily, a physiotherapy session is a good excuse to escape lectures.

I meet up with D for pizza on Cafe La Gaffe’s patio, perfect to catch a few of those elusive sunrays. Brian Jongen passes by as we view his installations in AGO’s Henry Moore gallery. A party is on at the Walker Court. I opt out. I even opt out of going to Hot Docs, even with a ticket in hand. My body tells me that it is time to call it a day.
