November 13: Scaling heights with Tibetan cuisine

I take my role as organizer of a dining out group seriously. I have 4 evenings in town this month and dedicate one of these evenings to an event. I lead my group, Foodaholics not-so-Anonymous around the globe, diving into culinary delights influenced by Toronto’s cultural diversity. Today, we head to the Tibetan community that has been growing in the Parkdale area. We eat momos and soup noodles, recognizing that the cuisine is born of a high altitude culture (i.e. very light on fresh vegetables).
