My front hallway is blocked with six suitcases. I’ve given up on putting them in storage. I cram my gear for Costa Rica into a carry-on sized bag. With laundry and packing done, and first night of accommodations booked, I head out to the movies to see the new Danny Boyle film, ‘127 Hours’. The film critic on CBC Radio said that telling us of the gruesome act (which I won’t reveal here) does not spoil the film, but it does. I just wait for the deed to be done.
Gordon Ramsay is next door at Indigo bookstore autographing his book. I think a bigger crowd was expected--there were no line following the velvet cords.
