I visit Juanita in her new home in Oakville. Time flies--I have known Juanita & Michael since we volunteered at AGO’s Barnes Exhibit in 1994. They dedicate much of their free time to the creation of beautiful things. I marvel at Michael’s many blown glass pieces. Juanita displays paper made during her recent course at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Beautiful!
Juanita takes me to a newly opened vegetarian Indian eatery in Oakville. It turns out that I know the cook! The original A1 Sweets is next door to my old office in Scarborough. They make some of the most scrumptious samosas in the GTA.
