This month’s dining event is Spanish tapas at Cava. Timing has it that every time I call over the past 3 years, they have a private function on. This year, I called early and gave them lots off choice in dates, snagging a coveted table for 12.
I am surrounded with great dining partners once again. Jacquilynne has been attending since my first event. Craig just recently joined but is already attending regularly. Shar is such a dynamic person. She started her own group, VITAL, shortly after her first visit to my group. Then there are Kim, Mike, Matt, and Sharon who also make this event such a positive experience.
I have the simple open faced sandwich with just greens, omelette(tortilla Spanish style) and roasted pepper--simple yet a great combination of textures and flavours--a winner in my mouth. What is better than all the mouth sensations is the great company with whom I share this meal.
