February 1: Canada Health Act provides million dollar view

Here I am starting my 6th month in Vancouver--so much for spending more time in Toronto.

I wake up to a rare sunny winter’s day in Vancouver, showing off its stunning seas and mountains. I head to the hospital to see Dad. He is in no condition to appreciate the stunning view from his room, but I certainly do.
