Groundhog day. Certainly no groundhog in his right mind would be popping out today in Toronto with its blizzard conditions. I, of course, am nowhere near my home. I am a 5 hour flight west in Vancouver.
Today is also Chinese New Year’s Eve. This is the day when Chinese families gather together to share dinner. We do the same. In fact, this is the first time in decades that the 4 of us do so. We rejoice that Dad is able to talk more clearly today. We may not have perfect health, but we are together.
